Le Pre Long is being ‘adopted’ by local environmental groups as a wildlife centre, with particular interest in amphibians and bird life. Woodland and pasture land walks are being planned in the near future, which

A windfarm is being developed in the neighbouring area, which is welcomed
by local people as a form of renewable energy. This will prove to be point
of interest to visitors to Le Pre Long.

Vast open space and the gentle walkways of the Vendee countryside are a

of binoculars and a picnic basket, those who take a leisurely cycle ride
